this product is a Splashproof Connector, NOT A PLUG.

This Splashproof Connector is created in the first place because a significant number of Malaysians are still using 3-pin plug + socket connection in the bathroom (you should be aware of this if you are in the industry), which as clearly stated by you, is wrong and dangerous. To rectify this, users can either:
1. Remove the plug + socket connection + junction box and directly connect the power supply to the water heater (expensive for users since they need to remove and fill the hole left by the junction box, and repaint the wall), or
2. Remove the plug + socket connection and connect the junction box to this Splashproof Connector (much cheaper and equally safe way as Option 1).

If a user is currently renovating their bathroom, as a water heater manufacturer, we have always been encouraging a direct connection to the water heater without the need of using this Splashproof Connector. THIS IS NOT A COMPULSORY PRODUCT TO HAVE. 3-pin plug + socket connection is definitely a BIG NO, and is clearly stated in our water heater instruction manual.
